These guys probably have descent intentions. They have a good format, nice video production, and are more than likely typical members of an NY art fag community. This is REAL HIP-HOP!! NO THANKS YOU URBAN HIPPIES!!

RODNEY-O & JOE COOLEY - ME & JOE 1989

JUST ICE - BACK TO THE OLD SCHOOL 1986
STUPID DEFFFF CLASSIC
A former bouncer at punk clubs, Joseph Williams, Jr. was the first of the New York rappers to embrace gangsta rap, and when he burst out of Ft. Greene, Brooklyn as Just-Ice, he gained instant notoriety. Muscle-bound, tattooed, aggressive -- he resembled Mike Tyson in more than just looks -- and with a mouthful of gold teeth, he certainly stood out. His debut album Back to the Old School proved he was more than just a pretty face.
For the true heads........Remember in Style Wars when Kase2 was like "Beastmastaaa". He was checking the Beastmaster add in the station and that was Frank Frazetta's work. Here's a clip of his extraordinary art that has no doubtly influenced so many illustrators of our time and so many to come.

MC SHAN - DOWN BY LAW 1987
ANOTHER MUST HAVE. STUPID DEFFFF
Down by Law is the debut album by East Coast hip hop artist MC Shan. Released at the height of the Bridge Wars, a feud between artists from Queensbridge (such as MC Shan) and South Bronx (such as KRS-One), the album contains various dis tracks. The most prodigious of these disses are "Kill That Noise" and "The Bridge," which was later re-created as "Da Bridge 2001" by various Queensbridge artists. The album is produced by Marley Marl. It was the only Cold Chillin'/Warner Bros. album that was never initially released on CD by its distributor. The album was not released on the compact disc format until 1995, long after the 5-year distribution deal with Warner Bros. Records ended.
ICE T - RHYMES PAY 1987
ONE OF MY TOP 3 HIP HOP ALBUMS OF ALL TIME. STORY TELLING AT ITS FINEST
Rhyme Pays is the debut album of Ice-T, released in 1987.
The album, especially tracks like "6 'N the Mornin'," is considered to have defined the gangsta genre, and was the first hip-hop album to carry a Parental Advisory warning label, although it was years before the industry-standard explicit-lyrics sticker was developed.
